Providing quality benefits to employees is complicated—but the burden of figuring them out shouldn’t fall on employees. We helped a major US airline imagine a better benefits experience in a collaborative workshop with 50 benefits vendors.
Recaptured trust. The event laid the groundwork for vendors to redesign key employee experiences to rebuild loyalty and trust—a chief priority for the corporation’s new CEO.
Experiential learning. We created an immersive learning experience that helped attendees, including many health benefits veterans, engage with this topic in new ways.
Increasing employee empathy in vendors. An employee simulation game based on real employee feedback helped vendors gain empathy for employees in the frustrating, fragmented benefits experience.
Designing meaningful change. Human-centered design workshops engaged vendors through experience mapping and service design around chronic disease management, retirement, and end-of-life care.
